Geophysical Survey

The Nigerian Geological Survey Agency uses geophysical techniques for geological mapping and mineral exploration in the country. This research work enables the proper identification of geological structures controlling mineralization.

The Agency has acquired airborne geophysical data of the entire country. The result of this exercise is the production of the magnetic and radiometric maps of the country. This has enhanced mineral investment drive.
