The Nigerian Geological Survey Agency warmly welcomed the Executive Secretary, Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO), Dr. Robert Floyd, and the Acting Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC), Engr. Dr. Anthony I. G. Ekedegwa on Tuesday. The visit provided an opportunity for discussion between these organizations and the GSN regarding potential collaborative efforts in support of national development.
During the visit, the Director-General of the GSN personally escorted the distinguished guests on a comprehensive tour of the NGSA’s Seismic Monitoring facility. This provided a valuable opportunity to showcase the NGSA’s capabilities in earthquake monitoring and research.
The Director-General reiterated the NGSA’s unwavering dedication to fulfilling its mandate, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to adhering to international standards and best practices in geological survey and research.
