National Integrated Mineral Exploration Programme
This is an effort by the Federal Government of Nigeria to carry out integrated exploration to de-risk the mining sector and provide geoscience data in order to key into minerals needed for the fourth industrial revolution. The project in its design took advantage of the known metallogenic belts in the country. The objectives of the project are to generate geosciences information in greenfield and brownfield setting through integrated exploration methodologies.
